Bafana Bafana draw against Jamaica ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup test

The South African team took a 32nd-minute lead through Lyle Foster only for Jamaican forward Dwayne Atkinson to score a late equalizer just before full-time in a match that was played behind closed doors.

According to a report from Soccerbeat, Bafana dominated the game but could not convert their chances before letting in a goal with the final kick of the match.

Bafana now turn their attention to next week's World Cup opener against Mexico, hoping to progress past the group stages of the tournament for the first time.

Hugo Broos' side will also be looking to end a five match winless streak when they face the co-host at the Estadio Barnote in Mexico City on Thursday.
