The Amajita showcased their talent by reaching the final of the U20 Cosafa Cup, demonstrating impressive performances that also secured their spot in next year's U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Several standout players caught the eye during the tournament, with five individuals, including head coach Raymond Mdaka, selected in the COSAFA media team of the group stage.
Broos highlighted the talent within the squad, stating, "You see a few players that we're saying 'oh, maybe we have to keep an eye on them.'"
He acknowledged the importance of maintaining momentum, insisting that the development process must not stall after the tournament.
He emphasised, "If we stop now, that's not the right thing to do. Every FIFA break, you have to call them and arrange a camp to work with them."
The coach hopes that the progress made will benefit both the U23s and ultimately Bafana Bafana.
Looking ahead, South Africa will face Zambia in the final of the TotalEnergies CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations/COSAFA qualifier on Saturday, with fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter for these emerging stars.
