Bayern Munich linked with Dani Olmo move amid Barcelona uncertainty
Bayern are reportedly considering a move for Olmo as they assess their attacking options ahead of the January transfer window.
The German champions are understood to be monitoring the situation surrounding the Spain international, with interest in Bayern attackers Michael Olise and Jamal Musiala adding to their desire to strengthen their forward line.
Olmo's agent, Andy Bara, has now responded to the reports linking his client with Bayern.
"Bayern have the best scouts in the world and if such a club shows interest, it's good," Bara said. "It's a big club, and there's no player on this planet who wouldn't want to play in such a club."
Despite the speculation, Olmo remains focused on competing for his place at Barcelona.
The 28-year-old has been rotated by Hansi Flick this season and has started only two matches so far, but that has not changed his determination to establish himself in the Barcelona team.
Spanish reports have indicated that Barcelona are unlikely to consider selling Olmo, particularly with the player under contract until 2030.
His valuation could also make a January transfer difficult. Barcelona signed Olmo from RB Leipzig for a reported 61 million euros two years ago and would expect significant compensation before considering his departure.
Olmo previously established himself as one of Leipzig's key attacking players, making 148 appearances, scoring 29 goals and providing 34 assists.
He has since made 96 appearances for Barcelona, while Bayern sporting director Max Eberl already knows the midfielder from his time in Germany.
