AmaZulu set for tough Chippa test

AmaZulu will host Chippa United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday as they look to end a three-match winless streak in the Betway Premiership.

Usuthu find themselves in fourth spot on the league table, while the Chilli Boys are in 13th position, just four points above the relegation playoffs spot.

The KwaZulu-Natal outfit has dominated Chippa in recent times with three wins in the last four matches against them, winning the first round clash this season 3-0.

Sekhukhune to battle struggling Gallants

Sekhukhune United are set to face Marumo Gallants at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday where they will try bounce back from last week's defeat to Stellenbosch.

Babina Noko currently sits in fifth position on the log, while Bahlabane ba Ntwa are languishing in 15th spot, facing the prospect of the relegation, with bottom placed Orbit College only a point behind them.

The previous seven matches between them produced three wins for Sekhukhune, two victories for Gallants with two matches ending in draws including their last league clash.

Polokwane, Stellenbosch face off in top eight pursuit

Polokwane City will be hosting Stellenbosch at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday afternoon in a battle of the last two teams in the top eight of the table.

Seventh placed Rise and Shine will be looking to consolidate their position with a victory over Stellies who occupy ninth spot on the table.

The visitors are winless in their last three matches against City in the league, having last recorded a victory over Polokwane back in the 2023/24 season.

Galaxy seek revival against desperate Magesi

TS Galaxy will be taking on Magesi at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday in a battle of two sides that have been struggling in recent times.

The Rockets who are in 12th spot on the table, parted ways with coach Adnan Beganovic after a dismal run of form of ten league matches without a win.

Meanwhile, Dikwena are in 14th position on the table, ahead of Gallants only on superior goal difference.

Magesi are unbeaten in three previous league fixtures against Galaxy, drawing once and winning the last two matches between them.
