Bournemouth sign teenage winger Ben Gannon Doak from Liverpool

The 19-year-old will wear the number 11 shirt at Vitality Stadium and could make his debut in the club's first home game of the season against Wolves.

Doak, who came through Celtic's youth academy before joining Liverpool in 2022, has already broken into the Scotland senior side.

"I'm buzzing to be here. I feel like it's the right time for me and it's a great opportunity to play regular football at the highest level. It feels like the perfect fit," said Gannon Doak, via the club's official website.

"The team play very nice football. It's fast and it really suits my game, so I felt like I couldn't say no to the chance to play here."

Despite being one of the most promising talents at Anfield, his opportunities were limited, prompting a loan move to Middlesbrough last season.

The spell on Teesside proved crucial for his development, as he established himself as a regular starter and won the EFL Young Player of the Month award in November.

His pace, direct running, and ability to take on defenders quickly made him a fan favourite, underlining his readiness for Premier League football.

Bournemouth believe Doak's energy and creativity will strengthen their attacking options, with the club eager to continue building a youthful, dynamic squad.
