Andy Farrell names experienced Ireland squad for Six Nations
Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has announced a 37-man squad for the 2026 Six Nations, including two uncapped players.

Borthwick's men come into the Championship as red-hot favourites following a run of 11-straight Test victories in 2025, and will be hoping to claim their first title since 2020 in the process.
Within the uncapped cohort, Bath tighthead Vilikesa Sela and Northampton Saints loosehead Emmanuel Iyogun come into the wider training group, with the front-row in the midst of a major injury crisis. Elsewhere, Exeter Chiefs back-rower Greg Fisilau is also in line to win his first senior cap, after cracking the initial squad.
They are not the only fresh faces among the wider front-row unit, either, with Trevor Davison also making a return to the squad, while Bevan Rodd also sees himself included.
The headline selection, however, is the return of Northampton full-back George Furbank, who comes into the group for the first time since last year's Championship. Crucially, he is included in the wider squad rather than the rehabilitation group, which suggests he is fit to play come the opening round against Wales.
Fin Baxter, Ben Curry, Ollie Lawrence, Tom Roebuck and Fin Smith will also travel with the squad to their training base in Girona to undergo rehabilitation.

Elsewhere, Maro Itoje will once again captain England, after steering the side through a successful 2025.
Commenting on his selection, head coach Borthwick said: "We've picked a squad with a good balance of experience, leadership and exciting potential.
"The margins in the Six Nations are incredibly fine so our aim over the coming days is to come together quickly, prepare thoroughly, and make sure we're ready to perform.
"If we prepare well and keep demanding the highest levels from one another, it puts us in the strongest possible position when the Championship begins."
