George Matlou's Kaizer Chiefs career under scrutiny ahead of contract expiry
George Matlou's tenure at Kaizer Chiefs will come under the microscope as his contract enters its final three months in June.

According to Dos Santos, the former Mamelodi Sundowns star possesses the leadership, quality, and presence that the club desperately needs.
Ribeiro is currently plying his trade in Spain with Cultural Leonesa, but his departure from Sundowns was surrounded by controversy and legal complications, leaving open the possibility of a return to South African football.
Amakhosi have a history of investing in marquee signings, and Dos Santos believes Ribeiro fits the profile of the type of player the club should pursue.
"Ribeiro is an exceptional player and would be a valuable addition for Amakhosi at this time. He has the ability to impact any team in South Africa in a big way," Dos Santos told The South African.
He added: "If he is available and can be brought back to South Africa, I would strongly recommend that Chiefs get him. We all saw Ribeiro's influence during his tenure at Sundowns. He has both skill and situational awareness on and off the field. He understands the game thoroughly and is the type of player who can motivate others."
At 26, Ribeiro is still young and considered a promising investment. Dos Santos believes his playing style could uplift younger players at Chiefs, while also filling the void left by the absence of a true creative force.
"Kaizer Chiefs require a creative playmaker, someone willing to give that extra effort. Ribeiro could serve as a key figure for Chiefs, similar to Relebohile Mofokeng's role at Pirates. Currently, the club lacks that presence. Signing Ribeiro would be a strategic and beneficial decision," Dos Santos concluded.
