Frankfurt's Nathaniel Brown deflects Bayern Munich interest ahead of World Cup

Frankfurt's Nathaniel Brown deflects Bayern Munich interest ahead of World Cup

The Eintracht Frankfurt defender was questioned on Thursday about reports suggesting he had already agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga champions. However, the 22-year-old chose not to discuss his club future and instead stressed that representing Germany is his only priority at the moment.

"I'm fully focused on the World Cup. That's why I won't comment on this today. My focus is only on the World Cup," Brown told reporters.

The defender has enjoyed an impressive rise over the past year, earning international recognition with Germany while becoming a key player for Eintracht Frankfurt. His performances have reportedly attracted strong interest from Bayern Munich, who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

Reports in Germany claim Bayern and Frankfurt are currently negotiating a transfer fee. Frankfurt are believed to value Brown at around 60 million euros and are unwilling to let one of their most important players leave for less.

Despite the growing transfer talk, Brown made it clear that discussions about his future can wait until after international duty. Germany are currently preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the defender is determined not to let outside distractions affect his focus.

Brown featured in Germany's convincing 4-0 victory over Finland on Sunday and could be given another opportunity to impress when Germany take on the United States on Saturday. The match will be their final friendly before the World Cup gets underway.
