Rishabh Pant returns to India Test squad for battle against Proteas
Rishabh Pant has recovered from injury and has been included in India's Test squad for the two-match series at home against the Proteas that starts in Kolkata on 14 November.

The visitors were poised to post a big score, but had to settle for 168 after a flurry of wickets. Australia looked set in the chase, but an inspired spell from Washington Sundar earned India a 48-run win.
The hosts enjoyed a solid start to their innings, with captain Mitchell Marsh and Matthew Short putting on a quickfire 37 before Axar Patel trapped Short in front. Josh Inglis partnered well with Marsh to move them to 88/1 in the 11th over.
But like the India innings, the ball began to hold up in the surface and scoring became tricky. Dube snagged two big wickets in Marsh and Tim David and now the pressure was on the Australian lower order. And when the danger man Glenn Maxwell fell for just two, they were wallowing at 103/6.
Enter Sundar. The off-break bowler was the architect of India's sprint finish, as he grabbed three scalps for three runs in just eight balls to close out the match.
Earlier, India openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill were off to a bright start. They put on 54 runs together before Sharma holed out at long on off Australia spinner Adam Zampa in the seventh over. Shivam Dube came in and kept the rate high until he was deceived by Nathan Ellis' off-cutter, which castled him.
Gill and captain Suryakumar Yadav continued ticking along nicely and at 121/2 with six overs left and two set batters, India were go for launch. But Ellis and Australia had other plans. A back-of-the-hand slower ball went right through Gill, who top scored with 46 from 39, then Xavier Bartlett dismissed Yadav the following over.
Wickets continued to tumble as Zampa picked up his second and third wickets in consecutive overs. Patel landed some lusty blows at the back end to score 21 off 11 and propel India to a respectable 167/8.
