IPL: Rajasthan Royals rise to the occasion to down Lucknow Super Giants

Defending a target of 160, Burger took 2-27 in four overs while England paceman returned figures of 3-20 as the Super Giants were bowled out for 119 in 180 overs.

Australia opener Mitchell Marsh top-scored with 55 but the Super Giants lost wickets at regular intervals as the run-chase became a feeble effort in the end.

The Royals has earlier notched up a total of 159-6 in their 20 overs after Ravindra Jadeja rescued the innings with an unbeaten 43 from 29 deliveries.

The visitors had found themselves in trouble at 62-4 after nine overs but Jadeja and Proteas middle-order batter Donovan Ferreira (20) did somewhta of a repair job with a stand of 33.

Shubham Dubey then added the finishing touches with an unbeaten 19 from 11 balls as the Royals got close to the 160-run mark that proved to be enough to win the contest.

It was the Royals' fifth win in seven outings in this season's IPL while the Super Giants slumped to their fifth defeat to sit second from bottom in the standings.
