'I've learned so much' - Tom Bischof hails Vincent Kompany impact at Bayern Munich

Speaking to Sky Germany, the 20-year-old midfielder highlighted how Kompany's tactical approach and personal trust have helped him expand his game into new roles.

"I've learned an incredible amount from him, giving me the confidence to play left-back, right-back," Bischof said. "He simply makes me feel like he trusts me. I think that gives a player, and me in particular, a tremendous amount."

Bischof also pointed to the intense individual coaching he received when he first arrived at the club, explaining that Kompany worked closely with him on every detail of his game.

"In the beginning (of my time at Bayern Munich), he helped me immensely, coaching me a lot with every single move," he added. "Now I'm realising just how much that's brought me. I've never had a season where I've learned as much as I have under him."

Although his minutes have often come from the bench, Bischof still made a strong contribution across the campaign. He featured in 26 Bundesliga matches, scoring three goals and providing two assists, underlining his growing influence in the squad.

His versatility has also stood out, with Kompany regularly using him in different positions across the backline and midfield, reflecting the manager's confidence in his adaptability.

For Bayern, Bischof's progress offers another example of young players benefiting from Kompany's detailed coaching style and willingness to trust emerging talent in key moments.
