New Zealand level T20I series in Bangladesh after successful run-chase

Bevon Jacobs proved to be the hero for the Black Caps with a blazing knock of 62 not out from just 31 balls after the visitors were in trouble on 33-4 after five overs.

Tim Robinson scored 23 at the top of the order but the mini-collapse put Bangladesh firmly in the driving seat to seal the series after the two match was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Dean Foxcroft, 15 not out, kept Jacobs company with winning runs being scored with 20 balls still to spare.

Bangladesh had earlier been bowled out for just 102 in 14.2 overs after the start of the contest was delayed for few hours due to rain.

Towhid Hridoy top-scored for the hosts with 33 while captain Litton Das struck 26 but seamer Josh Clarkson took 3-9 in two overs to curtailthe home team's batting unit.

Bangladesh won the first game of the series by six wickets but the Kiwis will happy to take a share of the spoils after arriving in Bangladesh with a a largely second-string squad.
