Report: Chelsea linked with loan deal for Real Madrid's Endrick

Endrick, long regarded as one of Palmeiras' finest academy products after scoring an astonishing 165 goals in 169 youth matches, joined Madrid officially in 2024 following a 53-million-pound agreement struck two years earlier.

His transition to Spain has proved challenging, not least due to the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, which pushed him into an unfamiliar wide role.

He managed seven goals in 37 appearances last season, including just one in La Liga, and has featured only once under Xabi Alonso this campaign.

With Madrid expected to sanction a January loan for the teenager, Lyon are currently viewed as frontrunners.

Chelsea's name has resurfaced largely due to Endrick's past partnership with current Blues winger Estevao, who arrived this year after completing a deal worth up to £50 million. Early impressions at Stamford Bridge suggest the London club may have secured the more favourable Palmeiras product.

Even so, Chelsea are not anticipated to enter the race for Endrick. The Telegraph reports that their link to the Madrid forward is speculative rather than serious, and Enzo Maresca's focus remains on maintaining key figures such as Moises Caicedo, who has grown increasingly influential amid interest from the Spanish giants.

Chelsea are turning their attention to a demanding run of fixtures, with crucial clashes against Barcelona and Arsenal looming at the end of the month.
