Wanindu Hasaranga ruled out for remainder of Sri Lanka's T20 World Cup campaign
Sri Lanka have suffered a huge blow after spinner Wanindu Hasaranga was ruled out for the remainder of the T20 World Cup due to a hamstring injury.

Chasing a modest target, Seifert and Allen set the tone from the outset, taking complete control during the powerplay and never allowing the run rate to dip.
The pair put on an unbroken 175-run partnership in just 15.2 overs, the highest stand for any wicket in T20 World Cup history.
In doing so, they surpassed the previous record of 170 set by England's Alex Hales and Jos Buttler against India at the 2022 edition of the tournament.
Player of the Match Seifert dominated the partnership, setting the tempo early with clean striking and sharp shot selection. He was particularly effective at punishing short and over-pitched deliveries, while also controlling the middle overs with assurance.
Allen initially played a supporting role but grew increasingly aggressive as the innings progressed, ensuring the chase was wrapped up swiftly.
The record was broken with the contest already well beyond the UAE, underlining New Zealand's authority throughout the match. The win marked New Zealand's second consecutive victory in the group stage and further strengthened their position in Group D.
"Great start. We are playing how we want to play," said Seifert.
"Me and Allen putting pressure on the bowlers was key. Every ground is different, and you have to adapt. The surface was very good - it held a little in the first innings, but overall it was a great wicket.
"In T20 cricket, you don't always get going, but it's about how you adapt. Finn batted very well."
New Zealand will look to carry this momentum into their next fixture against South Africa on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
