Tane Edmed starts at flyhalf for Wallabies against England at Twickenham

Starting in the forwards, tighthead prop Taniela Tupou returns to the starting side for the first time since the first Bledisloe Cup Test in Auckland, combining with Angus Bell and Billy Pollard in the run on front row.

Nick Frost and Jeremy Williams will reconnect in the second row, having started together last year when the Wallabies played at Allianz Stadium Twickenham.

Regular captain Harry Wilson returns to the number eight jersey and will lead the side, forming a familiar back row with Rob Valetini at blindside flanker and Fraser McReight at openside.

NSW Waratahs teammates Jake Gordon and Tane Edmed start in the halves for the third consecutive Test, while Hunter Paisami and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii will partner in the midfield. Suaalii returning to the venue where he made his Wallabies debut last year.

Harry Potter and Max Jorgensen also return to the run on side, selected as the two wingers with Andrew Kellaway continuing at fullback.

Allan Alaalatoa will make his 86th appearance in Wallaby gold as the replacement tighthead prop, joining Queensland's Josh Nasser and loosehead prop Tom Robertson as the substitute front row.

Lukhan Salakaia-Loto has recovered from a rib complaint to be named as the lock cover, while last weekend's captain Nick Champion de Crespingy is selected as the back row replacement.

Ryan Lonergan and Hamish Stewart will play their first Tests in Europe, selected as the substitute halves pairing, while the versatile Filipo Daugunu rounds out the matchday 23.

"The group travelled well to London earlier in the week and have had a couple of trainings ahead of this weekend's Test," said Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt.

"The coaches have tried to balance this year's tough schedule in terms of Test matches and travel, so it was great to freshen a few players up last week and we hope that allows the group to be really competitive on Saturday."

Wallabies - 15 Andrew Kellaway, 14 Max Jorgensen, 13 Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, 12 Hunter Paisami, 11 Harry Potter, 10 Tane Edmed, 9 Jake Gordon, 8 Harry Wilson (c), 7 Fraser McReight, 6 Rob Valetini, 5 Jeremy Williams, 4 Nick Frost, 3 Taniela Tupou, 2 Billy Pollard, 1 Angus Bell.
