AC Milan hit by Fikayo Tomori injury blow ahead of Juventus clash

AC Milan hit by Fikayo Tomori injury blow ahead of Juventus clash

The Rossoneri have been in strong form but are set to be without one of their most reliable defenders. Fikayo Tomori, a key figure in Milan's three-man back line, is expected to miss the encounter after failing to recover in time.

Italian outlet Calciomercato reported that the England international has not trained fully this week and is highly unlikely to be included in the squad.

Milan have made it clear that they will not risk him if he is not fully fit. Tomori's absence will be a significant setback for Massimiliano Allegri's side, who have relied on his pace and positional awareness at the heart of their defence.

Even so, Milan's depth remains one of their greatest strengths. With players such as Malick Thiaw and Matteo Gabbia available, the Rossoneri believe they still have enough quality to compete at Juventus.

Juventus, meanwhile, will be determined to halt Milan's momentum. Massimiliano Allegri, now in charge of the Rossoneri, returns to Turin where he won five consecutive Serie A titles as Juventus manager. "It is always special to come back here, but we are focused on the present and on continuing our run," Allegri has said in the build-up.

For Juventus, this is an opportunity to remind the league of their own title ambitions.

The Bianconeri have built strong momentum at home and will look to exploit Milan's defensive reshuffle. With both sides pushing for a statement result, the clash promises to deliver another fierce chapter in one of Italy's great rivalries. Tactical battles, squad depth and individual brilliance could decide the outcome of a fixture with major implications for the title race.
