Bayern Munich 'not under any pressure' to sell Michael Olise to Liverpool, Chelsea

Olise, 23, joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 for €60 million and has been a revelation since moving to the Bundesliga.

The skilful winger registered 20 goals and 23 assists in 55 appearances last season, helping Bayern secure yet another league title.

His strong start to the current campaign - with five goals and six assists in just 10 matches - has only heightened attention from abroad.

Liverpool and Chelsea are both monitoring his situation closely. According to BILD, Bayern now value Olise at a minimum of 100 million euros, with Liverpool reportedly prepared to meet that figure as they consider long-term successors to Mohamed Salah.

Chelsea's interest in the Frenchman is nothing new; they activated his £35 million release clause in the summer of 2023, only for Olise to reject their offer and sign a new contract with Palace instead.

"We're not under any pressure," Freund told German football podcast Sky90.

"We can imagine him playing for Bayern for the next seven, eight, or nine years.

"Michael has a long-term contract, he proved himself and took steps forward."

"He still has over three and a half years left on his contract," fellow Bayern sporting director, Max Erbel, was recently quoted as saying by BILD.

"He will increasingly become a decisive factor in FC Bayern's game and shape the future of this team - if it's up to us; the longer, the better."
