Betway Premiership: AmaZulu aim to maintain momentum against Marumo Gallants

Usuthu are currently on a three-match unbeaten streak across all competitions.

They recently thrashed Mighty Eagles 5-1 in the Nedbank Cup, followed by an emphatic 5-1 league victory over SuperSport United. Their latest outing saw them earn a hard-fought 2-2 draw away at Kaizer Chiefs.

AmaZulu sit ninth in the league table with 20 points and will be eager to climb higher with another positive result.

In contrast, Gallants find themselves in 13th place with 15 points and are coming off a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Richards Bay.

Marumo Gallants, however, can take confidence from their last meeting with AmaZulu, having secured a victory in their previous league encounter in September.

The home side will have a full squad available, with no suspensions affecting their line-up. Gallants, on the other hand, will be without two key players.

Siyabulela Shai remains suspended as he serves the second match of his two-game ban, while Edson Khumalo will also miss out after picking up his fourth yellow card of the season against Richards Bay.
