Chema Andres shines at VfB Stuttgart after Real Madrid exit

The 20-year-old midfielder joined Stuttgart for three million euros after Madrid decided to let him leave, believing he needed regular first-team football to continue his development.

The Spanish giants reportedly included a buy-back clause in the deal, keeping the door open for a potential return.

Andres made an immediate impact, scoring on his Bundesliga debut. Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeness praised him for his maturity and focus. "Chema has shown great composure for a young player," Hoeness said.

"He's quickly adapted to the Bundesliga and contributes both on and off the ball."

Despite enjoying life in Germany, Andres still hopes to return to Real Madrid one day. "Of course, Real Madrid is a dream for every player, and hopefully one day I can return. Everyone knows it's the biggest club in world football, but there's more to the game beyond that.

"I feel very happy in Germany, and I never imagined it would be this good," he said.

Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring his progress closely and may exercise their buy-back clause, seeing him as a potential backup for defensive midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.

Andres' early performances have suggested that Madrid's decision to let him move was wise, giving the young midfielder valuable experience while keeping the option open for a future return.
