Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden return as Thomas Tuchel names England squad

Bellingham, 22, returns after missing October's fixtures due to shoulder surgery. The Real Madrid midfielder was left out despite declaring himself fit, but Tuchel insisted there was "no problem" between them. Manchester City's Foden, who last featured for England in March, has been rewarded for his recent form, scoring twice in City's Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.

Tuchel's 25-man squad features one new face, with 22-year-old Scott promoted following an impressive Premier League campaign. The midfielder was part of England's European Under-21 Championship-winning side last year.

Brighton striker Danny Welbeck was again overlooked despite six goals in his last five league matches. Injured Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins and right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold also miss out, while Ben White remains absent despite reports of positive talks about a return.

Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope, Manchester City defender Nico O'Reilly, and Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton return to the squad. Dropped from the previous selection are Morgan Gibbs-White, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, James Trafford, and Watkins.

Captain Harry Kane remains the only recognised striker, though Marcus Rashford and Jarrod Bowen could provide central options if needed.

England squad:

Goalkeepers: Dean Henderson, Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope.

Defenders: Dan Burn, Marc Guehi, Reece James, Ezri Konsa, Nico O'Reilly, Jarell Quansah, Djed Spence, John Stones.

Midfielders: Elliot Anderson, Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice, Morgan Rogers, Alex Scott, Adam Wharton.

Forwards: Jarrod Bowen, Eberechi Eze, Phil Foden, Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka.
