Kobamelo Kodisang set for Mamelodi Sundowns reunion following disappointing Stellenbosch loan

Kobamelo Kodisang set for Mamelodi Sundowns reunion following disappointing Stellenbosch loan

The 26-year-old joined the Cape Winelands club on a six-month deal in January.

He signed for Stellies following a stint in Liga Portugal 2 with AVS Futebol Sad but ended up playing just five times across all competitions despite moving to the club for more game-time.

Kodisang is now expected to return to his parent club, says the player's agent Mike Makaab.

Speaking to FARPost, the player representative explained: "I think we all know that Kobamelo Kodisang is on loan at Stellenbosch FC.

"Things haven’t quite gone well at Stellenbosch, and we would have hoped that he would get more game-time because that's what a loan move is for.

"But he's still contracted with Mamelodi Sundowns, and he will go back to the club when the loan expires."
