Nigeria star Samuel Chukwueze shines at Fulham, thanks Marco Silva for push

The 26-year-old joined the London club on deadline day from AC Milan, but early injury setbacks restricted him to limited minutes. Now fully fit, Chukwueze has found his rhythm again — delivering four goal contributions in Fulham's last three matches, including a standout brace against Manchester City.

Speaking to Fulham's official website, the winger said he is delighted with the progress he has made since returning to action.

"I think I'm happy, very happy about the form I'm in and everything," he said. "The most important thing is the coach, who has been pushing me to work hard and stay focused, no matter the impact on the game."

Chukwueze highlighted the importance of being prepared every time he steps onto the pitch, whether he starts or comes off the bench.

"Every game is a new game. Whether or not I get assists, I have to keep my feet ready. Ten or twenty minutes, I must be ready to give everything," he added.

The former FIFA U-17 World Cup winner also revealed he was blown away by the atmosphere at Craven Cottage, particularly during Fulham's thrilling 5–4 defeat to Manchester City.

"The Fulham fans are amazing. I love them as they love me — maybe even more," he said.

"For them to stay from 5–1 to 5–4 until the last minute makes us want to give more."

He praised the supporters' passion, describing them as "one of the craziest fans" he has ever experienced.

"They deserve more love, more wins, and they deserve to be at the top. They kept singing, pushing us, screaming. They're good — and I like them," Chukwueze concluded.

The winger will be hoping to maintain his excellent run of form as Fulham continues their Premier League campaign.
