Despite their strong league position, Sibisi insists the immediate priority is Saturday's Carling Knockout final against Marumo Gallants at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
"When it comes to the league, that chapter is closed for now," said the Bucs defender.
"Our main focus is on the Carling Knockout final, and we can speak about the league after we've played that match. But the position we're in reflects all the hard work we've been putting in."
Pirates are chasing another domestic trophy to complement their earlier MTN8 success, potentially completing a treble similar to their 2011/12 campaign, when they also secured both the Carling Knockout and MTN8 titles.
Since then, league glory has eluded them, with the Buccaneers finishing runners-up in the last three seasons, but Sibisi believes the team's form, combined with fan support, can create a special moment.
"It's quite a unique feeling to play in a sold-out stadium, and it's probably like this every week. For us, it's always nice to have our fans pushing us, and the boys have never disappointed. The festive season is a season of gifts, and this one can be a huge gift for our fans if we win, as they will be filling up the stadium," he said.
Saturday's final will also mark Pirates' last match before the PSL takes a break for the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where Sibisi has been named in the Bafana Bafana squad. The tournament will be his second AFCON appearance, following his contribution to South Africa's Bronze Medal finish in the 2024 edition in Ivory Coast.
For now, Sibisi and Pirates are keeping their eyes on Polokwane, aiming to cap a stellar year with silverware and keep the momentum going into the new year.
