AmaZulu gunning for Orlando Pirates scalp as top three race intensifies, says winger Andiswa Sithole

Usuthu are currently in fourth place on the league standings with 39 points from 24 games - six adrift of Kaizer Chiefs in third and from a game more.

Sithole's side have seen their hopes of a third-place finish diminish with two successive draws, 2-2 at home to Sekhukhune United and 1-1 with Siwelele.

Next up is a trip to the Orlando Amstel Arena to face a title-chasing Buccaners, who come into this game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Richards Bay.

Speaking ahead of the game, Sithole said in the Sowetan: "We have been preparing very well for Pirates.

"The mood in camp is great, and we are motivated to go all out because Pirates are our direct competitors for those top spots on the log. We want to give Pirates a hard time.

“We really want to climb up the table to boost our chances of finishing in the top three. We don't see anything that can disrupt us now because the aim is to win all our remaining games, starting with Pirates.”
