Harry Kane hits back at Michael Owen as Bayern Munich form 'speaks for Itself'
Harry Kane has responded firmly to Michael Owen’s criticism of his decision to join Bayern Munich, insisting he is thriving in Germany both on and off the pitch.
The Black Stars underwhelmed in the 1-1 draw against lowly ranked Chad last week, despite leading the match from the 17th minute.
Addo addressed the media at the Accra Sports Stadium ahead of Monday's encounter, admitting frustration and disappointment with the last result.
"The entire team felt very disappointed after the draw against Chad because there were high expectations for us to win," said Addo.
"We have analysed the game very well and hope we have learnt from this. Surely it is easy to play at home with our spectators supporting us and players giving their maximum best."
Ghana currently top Group I with 16 points ahead of Comoros by a single point but have played one match less than the Coelacanths.
"I expect something different from the players this time around, and I hope we learnt from our mistake against Chad," added the 50-year-old head coach.
"The good thing is we still have it in our own hands, and we have to keep the pace high. It will be very difficult against Mali who are in good shape."
The Black Stars will host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
