Ireland hero Paul Stirling out of T20 World Cup
Ireland captain Paul Stirling has been ruled out of the rest of the 2026 T20 World Cup due to injury.

The co-hosts have had to adjust their normally aggressive batting style in the ooening two games at the global tournament against associate team, USA and Namibia.
India raced to 110 after 10 overs against the African side but only scored 89 runs in the second half of the innings for a total of 209 to set up a 93-run victory.
Kishan said after the game: "In both the wickets, I feel it was a bit different from what we expected to happen and today, looking at the death overs, when we were not able to regularly hit big sixes.
"I think we need to also give credit to Namibia bowlers because they were bang on with their yorkers, they were bang on with their slower ones.
"So yeah, it was a good learning. Maybe if some other team is doing the same thing, maybe we can use the crease more or we can do something different, which can irritate the bowler.
"So it was a good learning in this game and especially I think it was not about our batters not being able to hit sixes, but it was more of them bowling very well in the death overs."
India will have a different test in their next encounter when they travel to Colombo in Sri Lanka to take on arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday.
