After winning the toss and electing to bowl first, GT restricted RCB to 155 all out in 19.2 overs before racing to their target of 156 in just 15.5 overs.
RCB started brightly in the powerplay, racing to 59 for 2. Virat Kohli led the charge with a typically brisk 28 off 13 balls (5 fours, 1 six), while Devdutt Padikkal anchored the top order with a fluent 40 off 24 (5 fours, 2 sixes). The duo put on a dangerous 45-run stand, taking RCB past 50 inside five overs.
But once Rashid Khan and Arshad Khan got into the attack, the innings lost momentum. RCB slipped from 79 for 2 to 96 for 6 as the middle order failed to build partnerships.
Arshad Khan was the standout performer with the ball, claiming 3 for 22 in 3.2 overs with clever variations that troubled the batters. Rashid Khan backed him up perfectly with 2 for 19 in four overs, keeping the run rate in check.
Jason Holder picked up two wickets, while Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada provided early breakthroughs. RCB's lower order showed some fight - Romario Shepherd made a handy 17 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar finished unbeaten on 15 - but it was never enough.
Chasing 156, GT exploded out of the blocks. Skipper Shubman Gill set the tone with a blistering 43 off just 18 balls (4 fours, 3 sixes), and Jos Buttler matched his aggression with 39 off 19 (2 fours, 4 sixes). The pair put on 42 runs in the first three overs and took the score to 69 for 2 by the end of the powerplay.
Even after losing a couple of quick wickets to Bhuvneshwar Kumar (who finished with a creditable 3 for 28), the Titans never looked in trouble.
Rahul Tewatia played a mature finishing knock, remaining unbeaten on 27 off 17 balls, while Rashid Khan chipped in with 7 not out. Romario Shepherd took 2 for 30 for RCB, but Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma leaked runs at the death. GT's top-order firepower and calm middle-overs batting made light work of the target.
