IPL: Josh Hazlewood stars as Royal Challengers Bangalore thrash Delhi Capitals

The Australia seamer returned fabulous figures of 4-12 in 3.3 overs as the Capitals were bowled out for a paltry 75 in just 16.3 overs.

Hazlewood received brilliant support from the RCB bowling line-up with Indian veteran Bhuvneshwar Kumar taking 3-5 in three overs.

The Capitals could not stop the flow of wickets throughout with Abishek Porel top-scoring with 30 off 33 balls batting at number 7 after they were on a scarcely believable 8-6 in the fourth over.

The run-chase was a mere formality with England's Jacob Bethell hitting 20 from 11 deliveries before being dismissed by paceman Kyle Jamieson.

Virat Kohli (23 not out) and Devdutt Padikkal (34 not out) knocked off the runs without any further hiccups as the victory came in the seventh over of the second innings.

The Capitals will have to pull themselves together ahead of their next game against Rajasthan Royals on Friday while RCB travel to Gujarat Titans on Thursday.
