Neo Rapoo pens farewell message following Siwelele transfer to Orlando Pirates

Rapoo was officially announced as the Betway Premiership giants' latest signing last week, with the defender expected to add further quality and depth to the Buccaneers' defensive department ahead of the new campaign.

Before fully turning his attention to life at Pirates, Rapoo took time to thank everyone at Siwelele for their role in his journey.

In a heartfelt message shared after his exit, the defender expressed gratitude to teammates, coaches, management and support staff.

"To my teammates, both past and present, the coaching staff, management, support staff, and every single person behind the scenes at Siwelele Football Club - thank you," wrote Rapoo.

"From the very first day I walked through the doors of this club, I was welcomed with belief, support, and an opportunity to grow both as a footballer and as a person."

Rapoo explained that his time at the club extended beyond football, describing Siwelele as a place that helped shape his career and life.

"Over the years, this club has become much more than just a team to me; it has become a family and a place filled with memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life."

The defender also reflected on the lessons and experiences he gained throughout his spell at the club.

"Through the highs and the lows, the victories and the challenges, your faith in me never wavered," he said.

Rapoo reserved special praise for coach Lehlohonolo Seema.

"Thank you for your guidance, trust, leadership, and belief in my abilities. Working under your leadership has been an honour, and the lessons you have taught me will stay with me wherever football takes me."
