Proteas to host Australia, Bangladesh and England in bumper 2026-27 season

Australia will be the first to arrive in South Africa in September to play a three-match ODI series followed by three Test matches.

The 50-over series will start in Durban on 24 September, followed by games in at the Wanderers and Potchefstroom on 27 and 30 September, respectively.

The first Test will be from 9 October at Kingsmead in Durban followed by a Test at St George's in Gqeberha that starts on 18 October.

The series will conclude with a Test at Newlands in Cape Town from 27 October in will be Australia first Test tour to South Africa since their ball-tampering scandal in 2018.

Bangladesh will then arrive in South Africa for an all-format tour that includes two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is.

The Test series will get underway at the Wanderers on 15 November with the secind match scheduled for Centurion on 23 November.

The ODI matches will run from 1-7 December with games in East London, Gqeberha and at Newlands.

The three-match T20I series will start 10 December with matches scheduled for Kimberley, Benoni and Centurion.

England, with all their fans, will arrive in December from the end-of-year tour that will kick off with three Test matches followed by three ODIs.

The first Test will start at the Wanderers from 17 December, to be followed the traditional Boxing Day Test in Centurion and then the iconic New Year's Test at Newlands from 3 January.

The ODI series will commence in Paarl on 10 January followed by matches in Bloemfontein on 13 and 15 January.
