Report: Juventus interested in Bayern Munich defender Raphael Guerreiro

According to Kicker, Bayern have recently discussed the 31-year-old's situation internally at their Sabener Straße headquarters, but no final decision has been made. With the 2025–26 season still in its early stages, the club is in no rush to settle the matter.

Guerreiro, who joined Bayern on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2023, is set to become a free agent in June 2026. However, he will be eligible to negotiate with foreign clubs from January 1. Juventus are among the clubs showing interest in signing the Portuguese international, with Sport Bild reporting that the Serie A side may consider a move during the next transfer window.

While Bayern are not actively seeking a transfer fee for Guerreiro, a sale in January has not been ruled out - particularly if a replacement can be secured. However, the club is also reportedly open to allowing him to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Guerreiro's versatility and experience make him a valuable asset, especially amid Bayern's ongoing injury concerns in defense.

With Alphonso Davies, Hiroki Ito, and Josip Stanisic currently sidelined, Guerreiro remains the only fit natural left-back in Vincent Kompany's squad. His flexibility allows him to fill multiple roles, which has been critical during this injury-hit spell.
