Ross Adair recovers from injury to be included in Ireland's T20 World Cup squad

Adair missed the last series in Bangladesh due to a knee injury but has replaced Jordan Neill in the only change to that squad.

Stirling leads an experienced batting line-up that also features Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker and Curtis Campher.

Josh Little, Barry McCarthy, Craig Young, Mark Adair will carry the fast-bowling attack with allrounder Campher also a seam option.

Ben White, Matthew Humphreys and Gareth Delany are the trio of spinners included with George Dockrell now playing primarily as a specialist batter.

Ireland start their T20 World Cup campaign against co-hosts Sri Lanka in Colombo, before taking on other group opponents Australia (February 11), Oman (February 14) and Zimbabwe (February 17).
