Tottenham's James Maddison could be charged by FA for criticising match officials
A former PGMOL general manager has said he expects James Maddison to face disciplinary action from the FA following his outspoken comments about refereeing standards.

His footballing journey began at Nantes, where he progressed through the youth system before making his professional debut in November 2018.
Over three seasons in the first team, he netted 23 goals and played a crucial role in Nantes' Coupe de France triumph, the club's first major honour in over two decades.
In July 2022, Kolo Muani moved to Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he made an immediate impact. He contributed to 43 goals in just 50 appearances and was instrumental in helping Frankfurt reach the 2023 German Cup Final, enhancing his reputation as one of Europe's most effective forwards.
His performances earned him a return to France in the summer of 2023, when he joined Paris Saint-Germain.
During his time in Paris, he lifted two Ligue 1 titles, the Coupe de France, and the Trophée des Champions, further enriching his winning pedigree.
