Vincenzo Montella unveils Turkey's 2026 World Cup squad

The squad features several players from Europe's top leagues, with Real Madrid youngster Arda Guler and Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu expected to play key roles.

There were a few notable omissions. Sporting Braga midfielder Demir Ege Tiknaz did not make the final selection, while Galatasaray's Kaan Ayhan and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Salih Ozcan earned places in the squad.

In attack, Danish Superliga Player of the Season Aral Simsir was left out despite an impressive campaign, while experienced forward Irfan Can Kahveci secured his place among Turkey's attacking options.

Turkey will begin their 2026 World Cup journey against Australia before taking on Paraguay and co-hosts the United States in what promises to be a challenging Group D campaign.
