The Buccaneers have a mountain to climb in their Second preliminary round clash after a 3-0 first leg humbling by Congolese Linafoot side Saint Eloi Lupopo.
Ouaddou insists his side have the character to turn the tie around and secure their place in the Champions League proper.
Pirates have already secured the MTN8 this season and have won their last six Betway Premiership games, including a 1–0 victory over Polokwane City last time out.
Under Jose Riveiro last season, Pirates made it to the semi-finals of the continental competition.
"I have seen great character from my players as they were trying to score goals and go forward," Ouaddou said on IOL.
"They were not just protecting the goal. We have seen in many games that we were trying to go all out, but we didn't have efficiency in the box at times.
"But let's say, I hope they kept the five goals they didn't score (against Polokwane) for Saturday.”
