The 31-year-old has not featured for his nation since Ghana's unceremonious first round exit at the 2023 African Cup of Nations tournament in the Ivory Coast.

However, the former Orlando Pirates shot stopper told iDiski Times that he still harbours ambitions of making a comeback into the Black Stars setup ahead of the global showpiece in North America next year.

"I'm working hard and then focusing on my team at the moment," says Ofori.

"That's what you need to do for you to be there, because you can't' sit on the bench, or you can't sit and then just wake up and go.

"So, I'm working hard in my team to help my team in the league, and then the rest will take over."

Ofori has made three appearances four appearances for Usuthu this 2025/26 season due to struggling with injury, having to be taken off in his clubs' extra time MTN8 loss against Stellenbosch in August.

He will be looking to bounce back into action when AmaZulu host PSL newcomers at Moses Mabhida Stadium in their Betway Premiership clash on Saturday. Kick-off is at 15H00.
