Miguel Cardoso applauds Sundowns' grit after intense draw against MC Alger
Mamelodi Sundowns battled to a gritty 0-0 draw against MC Alger in a feisty CAF Champions League showdown on Friday night.

The 33-year-old forward, who joined the Algerian champions on a three-year deal, no longer features in the plans of head coach Rulani Mokwena, wrote Pan Africa Football.
Despite taking part in the club's pre-season camp in Tunisia, Delort was dropped ahead of the new Algerian Ligue 1 campaign.
Delort, born in France, endured a turbulent spell in Algiers. He scored just three league goals in six months while struggling with fitness and form.
His high salary has reportedly become a burden for the club, prompting officials to seek a swift exit.
The veteran spent the second half of last season on loan at French side Montpellier, but his return to Ligue 1 proved disappointing. He was relegated to the reserves as Montpellier suffered demotion to the second division.
MC Alger are now prepared to release Delort on a free transfer, with Kuwaiti outfit Al Qadsia expected to secure his signature. Should the move materialise, it will bring a premature end to his short-lived North African chapter.
