Arsenal winger Noni Madueke reflects on 'amazing feeling' of first Premier League title

Madueke played a key role on the final day, scoring a fine half-volley as Arsenal signed off their title-winning season in style in south London.

"It's an amazing feeling, one you can't put into words," Madueke said. "We had the feeling already after City the other day, but it's a wave of new emotions when you lift the trophy."

The winger added that the achievement has yet to fully sink in after a long campaign built on consistency and belief.

"I don't think it's dawned on me yet, but it will," he said.

Every Arsenal player had the chance to lift the trophy in front of their travelling supporters, with Madueke describing the moment as one of pure relief and joy after months of hard work.

"It was amazing, so much relief, so much joy, all positive emotions," he said. "It's something we've worked so hard for over nine, ten months. To finally get that feeling of yes, we've completed it was amazing. Scoring on the final day makes it even better. I'll put it in my scrapbook of memories."

Arsenal's title was confirmed earlier in the week after a draw involving Manchester City, allowing celebrations to begin before the final match. Despite the party atmosphere, Madueke said focus quickly shifted towards the future.

"We went mad on Tuesday, then calmed down and prepared for the game," he said. "Tonight we'll celebrate a bit more, but now it's about Budapest. We need to bring that second one home."

Arsenal now turn their attention to the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain at the Puskas Arena, Budapest on Saturday, May 30, with a chance to add another major trophy to their historic season.
