Aston Villa's Lucas Digne targets FA Cup win against Tottenham

This will mark the 12th FA Cup meeting between the two clubs, with Spurs historically enjoying greater success in the competition, having lifted the trophy more times than Villa's seven triumphs.

However, Villa will be confident heading into the match, given their formidable home form. Unai Emery's side are unbeaten in their last ten matches at Villa Park, a streak that dates back to a Carabao Cup defeat to Crystal Palace in October.

Left-back Lucas Digne has emphasised the team's determination to maintain their strong performances and extend their unbeaten run.

While proud of Villa's recent home form, Digne insists that he and his teammates are not satisfied yet and want to secure even more victories at their fortress.

"It's really important," he said.

"It's the most historic cup in England and I want to win that. I want to go as far as we can because we have a quality team.

"Against Tottenham we haven't won in a long time. Every time it's a tough game and we want to do our best in front of Villa Park.

"We can do better; we've had some draws. We haven't lost since Arsenal in the Premier League and Crystal Palace in the cup, but we can do a little bit better.

"We feel strong at home and we have to show that and correct the small details."
