Ben Motshwari joins Orbit College after AmaZulu axing

The experienced 34-year-old was found to be in breach of Usuthu's code of conduct, with the club deciding to terminate his contract in October following a disciplinary investigation.

Motshwari has now joined the Mswenko Boys for the rest of the 2025/26 season but can only make his debut for his new team in January, due to being unable to be registered until the transfer window opens in the new year.

The former Bidvest Wits star has made 275 appearances in the Premier Soccer League, scoring 11 goals whilst providing nine assists.

He becomes the second experienced player to join Orbit College after parting ways with AmaZulu following the recent signing of 35-year-old defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele.

Head coach Pogiso Mokhoye will be hoping the North West based outfit can improve from their current 13th position in the league ahead of the mid-season break for the 2025 African Cup of Nations in Morocco next month.
