Betway Premiership: Top eight and relegation battle heats up

Golden Arrows look to stop resurgent Chippa

Abafana Bes'thende who are in ninth spot on the league table will be hosting 13th placed Chippa United at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium.

The two sides will be meeting for the first time this season, with Arrows winless in their last five consecutive league fixtures against Chippa United.

The Chilli Boys have won their last three matches and are on a five-game unbeaten run in the Betway Premiership, meanwhile Arrows won against Magesi in the last match but had played a to a draw before that.

Siwelele, TS Galaxy seek to end winless runs

Siwelele will be looking to move away from the relegation zone when they face eighth placed TS Galaxy at the Free State Toyota Stadium.

Lehlohonolo Seema's side currently occupy 12th spot on the table after drawing four consecutive games and lie four points above the relegation playoff position while The Rockets sit in eighth position after losing the last two matches.

The two teams have met on one previous occasion in the Betway Premiership, with TS Galaxy emerging 2-0 winners in the reverse fixture.

Orbit College look to jump out red zone against Richards Bay

Relegation threatened Orbit College will be facing tenth placed Richards Bay at Olympia Stadium on Saturday for the second time this season after the 2-1 win back in October 2025.

The Mswenko Boys currently occupy 15th spot on the table, five points behind tenth placed Richards Bay.

Orbit are winless in their last seven league matches, losing six times and drawing once, while The Natal Rich Boys are also without a win in their previous three Betway Premiership matches.

Gallants seek to avoid double losses against City

Marumo Gallants will be looking to avenge a 1-0 defeat against Durban City in the reverse fixture in November 2025.

Bahlabane ba Ntwa are also winless in their last eight league fixtures and find themselves hovering uncomfortably above the relegation zone in 14th spot.

Meanwhile, City are doing well in sixth position on the Betway Premiership table despite numerous changes within the technical team.

The Durbanites have won three out of the last five league matches as they look set to push for a spot in the top eight.
