Alphonso Davies edges closer to Bayern Munich return
Alphonso Davies has moved a step closer to his return for FC Bayern Munich after taking part in large parts of the squad's final training session of the week.

The 32-year-old midfielder tore his anterior cruciate ligament in a recent match, ruling him out for the remainder of the season. Despite the setback, BVB's management are keen to keep Can beyond his current deal, which expires at the end of June.
"It is an extremely bitter diagnosis for Emre and the entire club. He has been the undisputed captain of our team not only under Niko Kovac but also under former coaches Nuri Sahin and Edin Terzic," said Dortmund managing director for sport Lars Ricken.
Ricken praised Can's leadership, saying: "The way he takes care of his teammates with such responsibility is impressive. We have enormous respect for Emre. That is why we want to support him beyond June 30 on his path to a comeback and extend his expiring contract."
The club plan to extend Can's contract by one year. Discussions will take place after the midfielder undergoes surgery to repair his ACL.
"Once Emre has successfully undergone the operation, we will sit down with him to discuss the matter further," Ricken added.
Can joined Borussia Dortmund in 2021 and has since become a key figure in the squad, known for his defensive midfield strength, tactical intelligence, and leadership on and off the pitch.
