After joining from 1. FC Nurnberg in July 2024, Uzun exploded into form with six goals and four assists in 14 appearances across all competitions, including a Champions League goal against Galatasaray. In the Bundesliga alone, he has recorded five goals and three assists, quickly becoming indispensable for coach Dino Toppmöller.
His performances have earned admiration from across the league - notably Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany, who called Uzun part of a "new generation of top players" in the Bundesliga.
