Enzo Maresca confirms Noni Madueke available for Chelsea at Club World Cup amid Arsenal interest

As reported by ESPN, Arsenal are in active negotiations with Chelsea over a potential 50 million euros deal for Madueke, with a move possible as early as this week.

However, Maresca insisted that the speculation has not affected the player's readiness.

"Personally, I think it's the same noise we heard before the Palmeiras game," Maresca said in his pre-match press conference.

"We gave him half an hour and he was very good. I have no doubt that if we need Noni, he will help us. I understand it's difficult when there's noise around, but he's handling it."

Madueke, 22, joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 for 35 million euros. He featured regularly under Maresca last season, making 32 Premier League appearances.

Chelsea are aiming to reach the Club World Cup final for the second time in three years, having won the tournament in 2021.
