Gennaro Gattuso resigns as head coach of Italy following World Cup failure
Gennaro Gattuso has stepped away from his post as Italy head coach after the country's failure to reach a third successive World Cup finals.

The Black Stars are currently without a head coach after parting ways with Otto Addo following a string of poor results.
While the West African country qualified for the upcoming tournament taking place in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11, they lost their last four friendly games.
Ghana lost 2-0 to a Japan side that recently defeated England 1-0, and also went down 1-0 to South Korea, 5-1 to Austria and 2-1 to former World Cup champions Germany.
The Ghana Football Association aree said to have received more than 600 applications for the Black Stars head coach position.
But Low, who led Germany to the World Cup title in 2014 with a 1-0 win over Argentina in extra-time in the final in Brazil, is reportedly in pole position for the post.
"Former Germany coach Joachim Low is on the verge of accepting the Ghana Black Stars head coach position on a short-term deal focused solely on the 2026 FIFA World Cup," Ghanasoccernet report.
"Personal terms are now close to being finalised following extensive negotiations over the last 24 hours."|
