Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has confirmed that Joe Rodon could be out for up to 10 weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.
Gabriel Martinelli opens up on Arsenal exit after Al Hilal move
The 25-year-old Brazil international joined Arsenal in 2019 and made 278 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 62 goals.
Martinelli helped Arsenal win the Premier League last season, as well as the FA Cup in 2020 and the FA Community Shield in 2023.
In his first official interview following his move to Al Hilal, Martinelli revealed the emotional nature of his departure and admitted he would have preferred to stay in north London.
"It's emotional. I came to Arsenal as a boy with a dream, and I'm leaving as a champion. If the decision was completely mine, I would have stayed, but sometimes football makes decisions for you."
Martinelli said he was proud to have won the Premier League with Arsenal and was also pleased to leave the club as their record sale.
"I'm proud to have won the Premier League and happy to leave Arsenal as their record sale. Most importantly, I'm grateful to the fans, my teammates and everyone at the club. Arsenal will always be a part of my heart."
Al Hilal confirmed that Martinelli has signed a four-year contract as they continue to strengthen their squad with established players from European football.
Arsenal also paid tribute to the Brazilian after his departure was confirmed.
"Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Gabi for his contribution to the club and wish him and his family well for the future," the club said.
Martinelli is the latest Premier League player to join Al Hilal this year, following Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United and Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa.
