Hearts of Oak sign Bibiani GoldStars defender Samuel Amofa
Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Samuel Amofa from Bibiani GoldStars.

The Bibiani-based side went into the final round of fixtures knowing that only a victory against Accra Lions would secure them the league title, having held a superior head-to-head record over title rivals Nations FC.
A draw would have opened the door for third-placed Nations FC to leapfrog Gold Stars into top spot, as they await a final decision from the Ghana FA regarding their outstanding Week 33 fixture against Basake Holy Stars.
However, the Frimpong Manso-led Stars looked to keep destiny in their own hands, shining brightly from the outset as young striker Abdul Farouk Amaoful, 21, fired them into a 4th-minute lead.
Defender Kelvin Oppong doubled the lead in the 19th minute, before striker Samuel Atta Kumi and midfielder Frank Amankwah adding two more goals in the second half to secure an emphatic 4-0 victory, prompting wild jubilation among the home fans.
"You can see everybody is very happy," said coach Manso in a post-match interview.
"The whole town is happy, and so I am overwhelmed. The joy of the town makes me so happy."
The victory did not only hand The Miners' their first ever Ghana Premier League title but also condemned the Accra Lions to 15th place, relegating them to Division One football for next season.
Gold Stars' triumph means the club qualifies for the 2025/26 CAF Champions League, while the winner of the upcoming FA Cup final between Asante Kotoko and Golden Kicks will represent Ghana in next season's CAF Confederation Cup.
