Jeremy Doku praises Chelsea youngster after Belgium beat Kazakhstan

Doku, who shone in the emphatic victory, described the 19-year-old as a standout talent, noting the quality he brought when introduced in the second half.

"I think that the Kazakhstan team looked good, especially in the first half hour of the match. The team played well in defence and had the potential to counterattack. This was before the goal was conceded," said Doku.

"I would highlight number 19, [Dastan Satpaev] - his performance made a good impression on me. Overall, the guys gave a lot of effort on the field, and now it is important for them to continue working hard."

Satpaev has been making waves in recent months, particularly since Chelsea struck a deal to sign him. The teenager cannot move to Stamford Bridge until July next year, but his performances for Kairat Almaty have already caught the eye across Europe.

At club level, Satpaev played a pivotal role in helping Kairat qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history.

That achievement has set up glamorous group-stage fixtures against Real Madrid and Arsenal, a stage that could further elevate his reputation.

While Belgium's week was defined by back-to-back 6-0 wins over Liechtenstein and Kazakhstan, Satpaev's cameo offered one of the few bright spots for the hosts.

His energy and composure stood out against elite opposition, reinforcing why Chelsea were quick to secure his signature.
