Amakhosi have tough opponents with two-time winners Zamalek and fellow Egyptian outfit Al Masry while Zambian side Zesco United complete Group D.

It will be the Soweto Giants' first foray into a continental tournament since their 2021 CAF Champions League campaign where they reached the final before losing to Al Ahly.

Stellies, who were semi-finalists in the competition last season, were drawn in Group C alongside Sead Ramovic's CR Belouizdad, AS Otoho and Singida Black Stars.

Steve Barker's charges surprised a host of team in Africa in what was their maiden continental campaign last time out before bowling out in the last four to Simba.

The group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup is set to kick off on the weekend of 21-23 November.
