Magnificent Bulls stage almighty comeback to book their place in URC final

The South African outfit found themselves 21-3 behind after 24 minutes but scored 19 unanswered points to silence the supporters of the Scottish team.

The Bulls took the lead through a Handre Pollard penalty but Glasgow then showed their prowess at home with three tries in the opening 25 minutes.

Pollard was shown a yellow card and his absence saw home captain Kyle Steyn cross for two tries in the space of four minutes with flyhalf Dan Lancaster adding both conversions.

Glasgow were then awarded a penalty try following a sustained spell of pressure close to the tryline and, at that stage, the hosts were 21-3 ahead and looking comfortable.

The Bulls though hit back crucially before halftime when Johan Grobbelaar powered over for a try and Pollard added the extras but the Glasgow took a 21-10 lead into the break.

The South Africans came out with fire in their belly after the interval as scrumhalf Embrose Papier darted over from a ruck to close the gap on the scoreboard.

The Bulls then went in front when tighthead prop Francois Klopper got his team's third five-pointer, with Pollard adding the conversion to give the visitors the narrowest of leads.

Glasgow piled on the pressure in the closing stages but the Bulls held on to book their spot in the URC final where they will take on the Stormers on Leinster.
